Popcorn

The popcorn sale is our #1 fundraising event of the year. The funds are critical to fuel all our our program; they subsidize events, pay for Pack materials, and provide funds for recruiting. This keeps our Pack thriving and strong.

In the fall, the "Popcorn Kernel" organizes the event, distributing sales sheets, setting up Show 'n Sells, and planning prizes. Cub Scouts who sell the most popcorn are also elegible for prizes from the Council. If the Pack raises enough money, our rank badges for the next year will be free!

Ways to sell:

• Door to Door with order form in hand in your neighborhood *
• Show 'n Deliver: Door to Door with product in hand *
• Online at http://www.trails-end.com
• Parent/Guardian sells at work
• Show 'n Sell: Set up a table at high-traffic areas and sell the product there. We typically plan 4-5 Show 'n Sells during weekend days

Camp cards

The pack sells coupon cards called "camp cards" in the spring. Parts of the cards are removable as single-use coupons, while the rebates on the main card can be used over and over. At only $5, the cost can very quickly be recouped after only one or two uses. As with popcorn, council offers prizes for top sellers.
